This selfcatered accommodation is situated in one of the most stunning locations in Scotland.On the outskirts of Aviemore, Rowlands is a 4 bedroom cottage sleeping 8 people plus a baby and we welcome dogs to stay.

Rowlands is a modern comfortable house extended and refurbished in 2011 with a centrepiece of an oak staircase, there are bedrooms and bathrooms on both lower and upper floors making a stay here suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

You can even take a boat trip on the Moray Firth and enjoy some dolphin spotting.

Just a short drive from Inverness is the Culloden battlefield with it’s National Trust visitors centre.

For those wanting to sample a local dram there’s The Glen Ord Distillery at Muir of Ord or try some organic beer at the Black Isle Brewery, both within easy reach.

Also on the Black Isle there’s the Cromarty Court House Museum and the Black Isle Wildlife and Country Park which makes a great family day out.
